I draw inspiration from nature for my light stones.
From the sky, clouds, water, fire, all things that are fleeting, intangible and filled with light.
I work the stone so finely that it becomes translucent. Thus I remove its heaviness, its materiality for the viewer, and the stone transforms.
What values still apply, what securities remain when a hard, eternal material like stone, seemingly made to last forever, suddenly seems to dissolve into light?
