Faces captivate us. They are the first thing we usually look at in other human beings, the thing that interests us the most.
The expression "showing your (true) face" means much more than just removing a veil or other covering. It is a synonym for the essential, what makes a person who they are.
For me, faces are also a bridge to traditional sculpture, a connection to what artists have tried to capture and artistically translate for thousands of years.
In this sense, I also like to show faces.
