Setting off into the world of our dreams

Of course, my boat sculptures are also inspired by the idea of ​​change.

In contrast to a house, for example, the boat is a symbol of travel and the uncertainties that come with it, of new things, of transitions, in short, of change.

Anyone who gets into a boat and leaves the safe shore behind needs courage and has to be prepared to face imponderables and dangers.

The thought of it can be frightening, but finding the courage to take the journey can open up untold new possibilities.

We often only realize where our boat is taking us at the end of the journey, perhaps not before we have actually reached the world of our dreams.
